I’m Paddy Sweeney and I run Cycling France. I have been a cyclist for over 30 years. I have raced at Elite level and liked riding in the Pyrenees so much that I moved there for 10 years. I have been organizing cycling holidays since 2003. The first trip to see Le Tour de France in the mountains was in 2007. I have years of experience organizing group cycling tours in mainland Europe, including 10 years as the owner of Pyrenees Cycling Lodge & Velo Peloton Pyrenees Bike Rental. I’m a Cytech-qualified bike mechanic and have years of experience working in bike rental and repair shops. Raid Pyrenees, Spanish training camps, the high alps, Tour de France & other world tour stage races & one-day classics, I have organized trips to them all.
